From deep inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God: (Jonah 2:1)

“Throw me into the sea, and it will calm down. (Jonah 1:12)

Your pride has deceived you.(Obadiah 1:3)

Listen to this, you that trample on the needy and try to destroy the poor of the country. (Amos 8:4)

I will not change my mind again about punishing them.(Amos 7:8)

Yet you have turned justice into poison, and right into wrong. (Amos 6:12)

Instead, let justice flow like a stream, and righteousness like a river that never goes dry.(Amos 5:24)
