洋書・児童書です。アメリカの小学３年生の男の子マーヴィンのクラスにある日、大統領がやって来ました！テレビ局の人たちも撮影しに来て、担任の先生も緊張している様子です。クラスのひとりずつが、大統領に何か質問をしなければならない事になり、マーヴィンは焦りながらも必死で考えます。後にテレビで様子が放送された時、マーヴィンは家族の中でトラブルに見舞われていましたが‥‥

今回はマーヴィンは珍しく、クラスメートに酷い目に遭わされたりせずに過ごしています。良かった☆
